In 1990 joined the Mid Med Bank Ltd, today HSBC Bank Malta plc where he worked as a Manager till April 2014.
From April till 9th December 2014 he worked with the Prime Minister as the Government Spokesman and Whip.
On the 9th December 2014 was appointed Minister for Home Affairs and National Security.
