Expression of Interest – Provision of Legal Aid Services

The Ministry for Home Affairs, Security and Employment (MHSE) is seeking to engage warranted lawyers to provide legal assistance in appeal cases lodged by third-country nationals before the International Protection Appeals Tribunal (IPAT) and the Immigration Appeals Board (IAB).

Selected lawyers will be expected to:

• Collect relevant documentation from the appropriate entities;
• Meet with appellants in preparation for case submission;
• Prepare and lodge case submissions to the IPAT and the IAB;
• Attend hearings as required; and
• Conduct follow-up on case submissions where necessary.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the rates set out in the Terms of Reference.
