Objectives

  • Manage information as a strategic asset, ensuring its security, accessibility, and alignment with Ministry priorities.
  • Develop ICT plans that reflect the goals of the national Government ICT strategy.
  • Support e-government initiatives and deliver reliable, user-focused services.
  • Provide expert ICT advice to the Permanent Secretary on strategic and operational matters.
  • Collaborate with MITA (Malta Information Technology Agency), other ministries, and stakeholders across the public and private sectors.
